Terms of Use — Beef

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Beef is a free party game for a group of friends playing together, in person. By using the app, you agree to these terms. They're short and in plain English on purpose.

It's a game, for fun

Beef is entertainment. It shows lighthearted-to-edgy "who in the room is most likely to…?" questions and lets your group vote and then talk. It is not advice of any kind, and nothing in it is a statement of fact about any real person — the results are just your group's opinions in a moment, for a laugh and a conversation.

Who can use it

Beef is rated 16+ and is intended for people 16 and over. Don't use it if you're younger than that.

Play respectfully — you're responsible for what you say and do

The whole point of Beef is an honest conversation among friends who know each other. That only works if everyone plays in good faith. You are responsible for your own words and actions while playing, both inside the app and in the conversation it starts. Keep it kind. If a question doesn't suit your group, skip it, pick a chiller level, or stop playing — you're always in control of that.

Please don't use Beef to harass, bully, threaten, or hurt anyone. If the mood turns, put the phones down and be good to each other.

Playing is your choice, and your risk

Beef is designed to spark real conversation, which can occasionally get heated — that's the group's dynamic, not the app acting on anyone. You and the people you play with take part voluntarily and accept that. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for what players say to each other, how anyone reacts, any falling-out, or any harm — emotional or physical — that arises from a game or the conversations around it. Those are the choices and actions of the people in the room.

No warranties

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. It's a free app made by one person, run on a best-effort basis.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maker of Beef will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising out of your use of the app or your interactions with other players. Beef is free, so there are no charges to refund.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and post the new version here.
